I’ve been exploring the Dal Hangari through a new lens by reimagining it in unconventional materials like brushed metal, translucent resin, colored plastic, and glass — textures that diverge from its traditional white porcelain form. With the help of generative AI, I’m able to experiment freely with how these material shifts alter not just the visual language, but the emotional resonance of the object itself.

Each texture brings a new interpretation: metal feels weighty and industrial, translucent plastic feels modern and playful, while glass introduces a sense of fragility and stillness. For me, this isn’t just about aesthetic variation — it’s about expanding the symbolic potential of the Moon Jar and asking how tradition can evolve when placed in dialogue with new materials, tools, and cultural contexts. GenAI allows me to explore these translations quickly and intuitively, turning the Dal Hangari into a canvas for reinterpretation rather than replication.
